Glock 19
If you had to pick one pistol to represent the entire market, this is it. A compact size that sits right in the middle — small enough to conceal reasonably, big enough to shoot well. Not the most comfortable, not the most accurate, and not the cheapest — but the one with the fewest surprises.
What's good about it
- Reliability proven across millions of units and every field condition imaginable
- The best availability in Israel — holsters, parts, magazines and gunsmiths
- Every shooting instructor in the country knows it, and that matters when you're learning
What's less good
- Mediocre factory trigger. Most serious shooters replace it
- Plastic factory sights, meant to be replaced
- The grip is relatively thick and doesn't fit every hand
Common user reviews
The remarks that come up most often among owners in Israel and abroad, good and bad. These are user opinions, not our test.
Common praise
- Most common praise: it just works. Thousands of rounds without a malfunction and without special care
- Field-strips and cleans with no tools and no learning curve — three minutes and it's clean
- You can upgrade almost everything on it, and there are parts for every need
Common complaints
- Most common complaint: the trigger feels spongy out of the box
- Too thick to carry comfortably under a shirt, especially in summer
- Feels generic. Nothing special about it other than the fact that it works
Generations and versions
Which optics fit it
The Glock 19 ships with adapter plates, so it accepts a wide range of footprints: RMR, RMSc and Docter. 24 of the optics sold in Israel fit it.
You choose a pistol by hand, not by table
Have a licence? Professional training with us gives you control and confidence with any gun you choose. No licence yet? An experience shoot with a dedicated instructor: no licence, no commitment.
You can also just shoot them
No spec sheet replaces how the pistol sits in your hand. If you're torn between two or three, book a range session, shoot them, and decide after — not before.
