Our commitment to equal, accessible service for every person.

The ELAD counter-terror school places the highest importance on making its services accessible to people with disabilities, believing in every person's right to equality, dignity and independence. We invest resources in making this website fully usable and comfortable for all visitors.

The site is built to comply with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and with Israeli Standard 5568, based on the international WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA.

Accessibility Features on This Site

  • A floating accessibility menu on every page: text enlargement, high contrast, link highlighting and animation stopping
  • Full keyboard navigation support, including a skip-to-content link and a clear focus indicator
  • Alternative text descriptions for images and full labeling for screen readers
  • Proper heading structure and semantic landmarks on every page
  • Forms with clear labels and accessible status messages
  • Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference
  • Colour contrast has been checked across the site and meets at least 4.5:1 for body text
  • The cookie consent banner is keyboard and screen-reader accessible and does not trap focus

Known limitations

  • Payment pages are operated by the payment provider Grow and are outside our control. If you have difficulty, call us and we will complete the process by phone.
  • Some older videos on the site do not yet have captions. We are adding them progressively; in the meantime you may request a transcript from us.
  • Content uploaded by a third party or opened in an external window may not meet the same level of accessibility.

Accessibility at the range

  • The Olympic range in Herzliya is operated by another party, and physical accessibility arrangements there are its responsibility.
  • You can coordinate with us in advance and we will verify the required arrangements with them.
